Zakynthos’ secrets – XIGIA BEACH, a natural sulphur spa! Xigia Beach is located on the eastern coast of the northern part of the island. You can get there only by car (or scooter).
The natural spring water flowing into the sea here is filled with collagen and sulphur – great for your health and really relaxing to float about in.
Sulphur baths are healthy for the skin, they make it wonderfully smooth. Be aware, after baths, everyone has the distinct smell of sulphur…

When you follow the coast road direction north, the sulphuric beach can not be seen – it’s placed at the bottom of the bay – don t miss it.
Enjoy a swim in spectacular tones of blue and turquoise waters. Don t be afraid of the little “cleaners”, small fish which will clean your skin while you stand still in the water
The view from up the hills is fantastic, you can see the Peloponnese as well as the neighbour island Kefalonia.
